DYW Live

We are delighted to introduce to you a programme of free, online courses which will allow young people from across the country to participate in a range of live, interactive learning sessions.

"A founding principle of e-Sgoil, is to provide a wider, more equitable choice of learning experiences for the young people of Scotland. We firmly believe DYW Live contributes to this and we are committed to growing the provision in the months and years ahead" - Angus Maclennan, Head Teacher

We are grateful to our partners who join us in facilitating these remote learning and teaching opportunities and to colleagues at Education Scotland who have worked with us to develop this national offer. We hope you can join us on DYW Live and we look forward to working with you and your young people in the weeks ahead.

e-Sgoil and Education Scotland have teamed up to work with a wide range of national partner organisations in order to create an exciting virtual learning offer for children and young people across Scotland to develop career education and enhance their employability, career management and work-related skills.

Given the current context of Coronavirus (COVID-19) schools will have a unique opportunity to build the entitlements from the Career Education Standard 3-18 into their curriculum planning from January 2021 onwards. Live programme offers sessions across a wide range of themes and provides real scope for a range of partners to work with schools to develop rich learning opportunities.
