GOVERNMENT INITIATIVES IN SCOTLAND TO BOOST APPRENTICESHIPS

The Scottish Government announced £10 million for a range of measures to recruit and retain Apprentices. This targeted funding will help Modern and Graduate Apprentices, who are facing redundancy, get back into work.

This includes additional funding for Scotland’s “Adopt an Apprentice” programme which has recently been enhanced from £2,000 to £5,000. This incentive is for an employer who is willing to take on a redundant Modern or Graduate Apprentice. Great breakdown — it answered a couple of questions I'd had for a while now. You framed the trade-offs honestly, which is something plenty of posts skip. If it helps, I break the whole process down step by step at https://cow-swaps.net/. Bookmarked for later.

Thanks for laying this out so clearly; it actually made a few things click for me. I hadn't considered the angle you raised in the second half, and it's a fair point. I pulled together the steps I actually follow at ethersfi, in case it saves anyone time.
