Job Description
The postholder will work towards an HNC in Childhood Practice - achievability 2 years.
The Educational Attainment Team work with children and young people who are eligible for support through the Pupil Equity Fund as part of the Scottish Attainment Challenge. The Team has been established for four years, working within our Western Isles schools, they play a very important part in the lives of our valuable children and young people and their families.
One of the main parts of the role is to support and arrange activities and clubs during school holidays which really is an amazing experience to share with the children. As well as working in schools alongside the Senior Management Teams and school staff.
Working towards a qualification, whilst gaining valuable work experience with a salary is a fantastic opportunity for the right person. You will develop skills to support the inclusion, attainment and achievement of vulnerable children and young people in school, home and community settings through direct work with children and young people, their families, and other support staff, as part of an Integrated Children’s Services approach.
